Here at Thunderdog Designs, we cherish our feline companions, and the Tabby is truly one-of-a-kind.

Our Tabby single-board computer boasts an impressive array of features tailor-made for embedded design applications.  Powered by Microchip's high-performance ARM Cortex-A7 SAMA7G54 microprocessor clocked at 1GHz and accompanied by 512MB of DDR3L RAM, this SBC is primed for efficient and reliable operation.

With 32GB of eMMC storage and versatile connectivity options, including 1Gb Ethernet with Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, the Tabby provides ample storage and networking capabilities essential for embedded projects. Its additional features, such as a microSD card slot, USB 2.0 ports (including USB-C connectors), MIPI camera connector, WiFi and Bluetooth support, and PDM microphones, offer flexibility for various functions and applications.

The Tabby further enhances project compatibility with a subset of Raspberry Pi-compatible I/O via the HAT header, making it easy to integrate with existing frameworks. Its diverse range of features also includes a 5V power barrel jack, USB-C power input, USB console debugging, EEPROM for data storage, JTAG for debugging and firmware flashing, and temperature and current monitoring for system health assessment.

Notably, the Tabby's low-power mode ensures energy-efficient operation, crucial for power-sensitive embedded applications. In conclusion, the Tabby SBC from Thunderdog Designs stands out as a versatile and feature-rich solution, offering the performance and adaptability required for a wide range of embedded design projects.

The Tabby is still in development with roughly a month left before production. Stay tuned to receive notice of its release and where you can get your very own.
